Fat Kid Rules The World Review
|
My Rating: 5.5/10
IMdB Rating: 6.4/10 Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 83% Metacritics Rating: 54/100 Now this movie was definitely a low budget production and for that I give it some props. Overall th plot was extremely unorganized and there was a major plot hole. The acting was decent for every role. Except the role of Marcus portrayed by Matt Oleary. Now he has some major acting chops he does a perfect job of being a burnout living on the side of the road with no ambitions. Although this movie is considered a comedy i did not laugh once throughout the entire film. As for emotion there was little except when the fat kid goes to tell Marcus about the teddy bear and its drug filled body. For the ending I felt it had a few loose ends. For example Marcus is just so easily capable of leaving a hospital with no restraint what so ever. Marcus just arrives to play his gig and the movie ends. What about the girl what happened with that. Out of nowhere the fat kids old friend decides to talk to him, what? Overall a descent film at best. At least it was only 1 hour and 39 minutes so I didn't waste too much time with this film. I would give it around a 5.5/10 |
