The Messengers review
My Rating: 3/10
IMDb Rating: 5.4/10 Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 12% Metacritics Rating: 34/100 My Favorite Quotes: N/A Another movie that I had very low expectations for. When I decide to throw on s random ass horror movie that happens to be on Netflix I set my standards low. The reason I do that is so I don't get disappointed by movies such as this one. Kristen Stewart aka (the boy with long hair) was just as shitty in this as she was in Twilight. I regret watching this other than the odd jump scares that were pretty solid. The plot twist was not half bad. The plot was as cliché as they come. A family moves to a traumatically different neighbourhood where they begin to get haunted by paranormal demons/ghosts. I disliked this movie and do not have much to say other than it is nothing special and has nothing to offer to the Horror Genre. Also the dad was a terrible actor and lacked almost any emotion. I will admit this is one of my least thorough reviews. This was basically due to the fact that this movie had very little to offer. |
