Spartacus: gods of the arena review
|
My Rating: 9/10
IMDb Rating: 8.6/10 TV.com Rating: 8.6/10 Metacritics Rating: 55/100 Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 60% I really enjoyed the new look on things with this season being a prequel. It really helped show the other side of things with how the Dominus became so angry and serial killer like. It also showed some of our characters back stories and their rise to glory. With the absence of Spartacus their was a lack of heroes. But with Gannicus filling in the spot it was a large gap to fill, but he did it beautifully. With his calm demeanor and his lust for nothing he was awesome and force to be reckoned with as a fighter. The show never fell short when it came to arguments and drama with a hint of backstabbing. It was fun to watch and with the final episode tying in beautifully with season 2 I cannot wait to watch it. The animations were on par as usual. The season length was perfect as was the wonderful dialogue and naked bodies. This show continues to be something I look forward to and is one of the best TV series ever. |
